Valentine Gifts for the Foodie

I'm barely over the Christmas Holidays, and it's almost Super Bowl Sunday with Valentine's Day creeping up quickly. Making your sweet heart's favorite dish and finishing up with something chocolate is a sure fire way to make any dinner a hit, but many people like to exchange gifts too. It's easy to find great gifts when price is no object, but these difficult economic times call for a little creativity in order to find a thoughtful little gift. Don't despair, it's possible to find great gifts without breaking the bank. These are my picks for the foodie on your list.

On Amazon for under $ 20.00

fredflare has these for under $20.00 under their Valentine's Day link

Shopping for the male foodie can be tough, especially if you've already bought him the really cool kitchen gadgets, but chances are pretty good he won't have a pair of these! They will set you back almost as much as any good knife, but they are cool.

And then there are the gifts we give to our girlfriends just to remind them that how wonderful they are.
These all fit into the category of "just a little something".

And lastly, if like me, you're the foodie and your other half has very simple tastes in food, try this fun item.  If you asked my hubby, "If you could only eat only one thing for the rest of your life what would it be?"  This would be his answer!
PBJ
It's a PB&J sandwich!

I know this weekend most of you will be cooking up lots of good things to savor while you watch the super bowl, but once all the dishes are done, let me know what's on your Valentine's Day Wish list. Just remember to keep it PG, you never know who might stumble upon this humble blog!

So cute! I have heart shaped cookie cutters, but I'm eyeing small tart molds or a heart shaped mold. But what I REALLY wish for is some time to ourselves with no one else home.
